Community Changemakers Combating the Coronavirus

A collective of community changemakers came together during the time of Coronavirus to support and equip grassroots families during difficult times.

One of the grassroot efforts and collective action initiated by the social innovation sector and community partners to combat the coronavirus outbreak in Hong Kong included making reusable cloth masks for grassroots families. This addressed the challenge of insecurity on access to and affordability of surgical masks beyond the immediate term, and also the practical need to protect themselves while at work or during essential daily activities.

CO-CREATING “REST 息” IN THE COMMUNITY

From co-hosting an impact community get-together to participating in a wellness mindshare, our team explored first-hand what “REST 息” means to the wider community and how it could look like in personal and collective practice.
