SVhk launched our new campaign at their New Urban: Odyssey event on 12 December 2019 – and we certainly could not have asked for a more engaging crowd or a better start to our odyssey as a collective impact journey towards re-imagining our “Home Kong” by 2030.
The event marked the start of a 10-year SVhk-curated campaign with 2020 dedicated to “息” (rest). We shared our blueprint for a New Urban ecosystem with 6 visions: Lifestyle Urban, Wellness City, Impact Economy, Purpose Capital, Future Talent, and Generation YOU. More importantly we heard from our partners, and, in particular, our 9 dear friends who candidly shared their dreams for the next decade, a future with “children trusted by their parents”, “farmers who connect with urbanites”, “menus of compassion”, “society that recognises special talents”, “affordable happiness and wellness”, “Red Mondays not Green Mondays”, “conscious consumption”, “a song for every Hongkonger”, and “a city that brings together old and new”.
All of us here at SVhk are overwhelmed by your show of support and the many new ideas that have since been sparked in our follow-on conversations. Our odyssey to New Urban 2030 is taking shape, and we look forward to sharing more details and next steps with you.
